What Happens When They Are NOT Held Accountable

This story is an all too familiar nightmare. The amount of power and control board members have is terrifying. We have been saying for years that they could literally tax us out of our homes, and while the auditors office nodded in understanding, they also said they couldn’t do anything about it.

We have recently learned that the Saddleback Road District Board is behaving much like this HOA board. We also know that if we back off for a second, we could find them in our yard forcing us out. There were a few moments listening to this where I had a tight chest and visualized the same things happening to us.

Currently, it appears most of the members are accepting the Boards version of events. However, we are hopeful that when the Attorney General publishes his opinion, the members will realize what nonsense the Board has been spewing for 9 years. And that we were right on all of it. It was not hyperbole. I should do an updated post on all the things we said were unlawful actions, and that we were then proven right on. It’s extensive. And these are things the Board dug their heals in on and stated firmly we were wrong and there was “nothing to see here.”

This video does have a happy ending. I want to spare you from the anxiety I felt when I watched/listened to it. We have to stay vigilant. Even after we are free from this corrupt organization, we have to be careful to not relax.
