When dealing with any board, but particularly a corrupt one which has been caught in NUMEROUS lies and violations of law, you have to see the records. You have to see the receipts. The invoices. PROOF that money was actually paid for actual bills.

As this board denied my requests repeatedly, I’ve had to look for local news outlets, similar to the “Let Joe Know”. And then wait for a slow news day, because let’s be honest… this is not sexy or bloody.

It’s possible that we might need to appeal to a larger market. Joel and I, and the rest of us back here, have been saying for quite a while that the books need to be audited. And then perhaps a records search of text messages and emails between Crystal Farrokhi and Dale Ruzicka and Matt Christensen and Bob Hummel and Allysann Harper and Steve Charnes… and then depending on what is found in those records, possibly expand it to include other people back there. People with a lot to gain from all this continuing as usual.

Now, if you live in an area that does not have a “Joe”, expand your thinking to YouTube channels and podcasts. Independent journalists. People with outlets and an audience and a goal of exposing the truth. There are many mid-size channels that are surprisingly easy to share your story with.

People love watching the drama of HOAs and special districts are quite similar. Certainly in the drama, abuse, non-compliance and overreach.
