The Apple Dumpling Gang Loses One Bad Apple

I meant to post this update a while back, and was just reminded when the two remaining dumplings sent out another email.

Just a heads up, I had to edit the image on Canva to create one picture. I did not change the text. You know, not like Bob Hummel did when he copied and pasted my post … and changed it… 🙂

One reason I didn’t jump on posting an update was to see if the other dumplings would screw up. And it appears they are about to. <shock> This is the email we just got.

I love how they make an effort to not provide details… ever. For example, if you look back at emails from earlier years, you can see Dale use very generic words and phrases. He met with ‘officials’… but no names, or office mentions… nothing you can check on. Same here. Given their previous actions, I’m betting they called the auditors office. They would get better advice from a parking lot attendant.

There is actually a law that provides guidance. I know, this is quite shocking. A law? An actual statute that covers this very circumstance?

Say it isn’t so.

But yes…

What we can see here is that while Bob Hummel resigned in Dec., effective Jan 1, 2026, it has been 18 days and we are just hearing that the remaining dumplings (Dale Ruzicka and Matthew Christensen) are asking for advice.

I’m curious if any of them have simply done a search in the statutes. It tells them exactly what is to be done. There are also a couple of other super simple to read (even a dumpling could understand it) sources. A simple search on a basic search engine would likely bring them up.

But no… let’s complicate it and likely ask people who have a reputation for erroneous advice, or pay a lawyer to read the law to them.

I’m not gonna tell them, but I’ll give them a clue… it’s not in the Road District Chapter. In fact… it’s the same chapter that said they didn’t have the authority to vote out a trustee… which they did anyway.
