Saddleback Road District Financial Update

Dear God, somebody gift this guy a QuickBooks. I mean WTF?

Ok- update…
So, I took some time to look at this budget/financial statement (since my spidey senses were tingling immediately upon first glance). I wanted to double check my numbers. I asked an accountant , (who also happens to be a volunteer board member of a local federal credit union. Just a reminder, Dale… ‘volunteer means she doesn’t get paid. I know that tripped you up earlier in all this) to take a look and she tilted her head like Max does when he hears a high pitch noise.
Her question was something to the effect of “why are they doing it this way? Why not just share the actual statements?”
And I laughed and laughed.
Dale says -Total 2025 Account Receipts -> $18,772.76 (1),(2)- referencing 2 notes.
- 1,676.67
- 541.67
It is assumed by his statement here that we started with the $16,500 of stolen money via whatever fee they are imposing this week.
In #3 of the notes, he states that we expected 34 landowners, as usual, but for whatever reason we have 33.
So, we take the $16,500 and add the $1,676.67 and then add the $541.67 and we get….
Drum roll please… $18,718.34
But Dale says that it is $18,772.76.
That’s a difference of $54.42.
With just having to add 3 numbers… Dale is off by $54.42. Yes Dale, I know… numbers is hard.
And this is what I saw in just the first minute of looking over this ‘statement’. And this is not even my wheelhouse.
Moving on- The first line of expenses is gravel/grading etc. They say they have spent $19,349.91 in 2025. As someone who repeatedly asked for PUBLIC records that SHOWED where the money was spent, and received nothing, I am still questioning just where all the money went. We asked for work order that SHOWED where work was being done and was the cost was.
We were ignored.
But anybody on this end of the road knows that money was not spent down here. As people who travel this 1/2 mile daily and not seeing anything done, gonna go out on a limb here and say, the money was spent back there… as usual.
Increasing property values, which is what this whole thing got started for. (It’s in the documents, published on this site).
Signage- $378.60
Yeah, we already talked about this. What a waste of money.
Savings/legal $1395.47. So, this is the other waste of money, hiring the shyster lawyer to fight us tooth and nail… to keep us out of court. Not to fight us IN court… no. To keep us from getting to court.
I posted all those pages, the responses/answers and motions of the board are quite humorous read in retrospect.
