Calling Out Politicians

But Wait! There’s More!!!

I’m a fan of publishing documentation that supports our allegations that individuals are crooked and untrustworthy. We know that many of these people rely on us rolling over and peeing on ourselves. They are bullies. They make their demands sound reasonable. Even Lawful, but they aren’t.

This is an exchange between Mary Fitzgerald, a South Dakota politician, and somebody in her neck of the woods that likely didn’t vote for her.

Let me say here that I can understand where Mary is coming from. “Sad” “Hurt feelings.”

But I also understand where Katie is coming from in that this person, an elected official has just crossed a line. If it were me or another regular person, asking a page owner to delete something, that’s one thing. It’s still not cool, but we don’t have the same expectations on us that elected officers have or should have.

While Mary may have motivations of a regular person, she cannot simply speak as one, from her official page or account.

Now, let’s bring this closer to home. Dale Ruzicka is annoyed or whatever, about my publishing on this news outlet. Even if Dale were a “regular Joe”, the allegation of harassment would go nowhere, because there is no threat or implied threat, or direct contact… etc. And everything is backed by evidence.

Remember that whenever I have said anything about this Board or its members, I can back it up with documentation.

Dale may want to shut me up and shut down this site, but he is not a regular Joe. As an ‘elected’ official, he represents the government. He IS the government. And when he makes a complaint to force me to silence, he is overstepping. He is in fact, breaking the law, as I see it.

And I believe there is case law to back me up.
