Want to get involved?

This effort is no longer the work of one person.

It hasn’t been for a while.

Over time, people have quietly contributed documents, screenshots, statute research, public records, meeting minutes, questions, photographs, historical records, and their own experiences. Some have asked questions of government offices. Others have simply helped verify facts. Every contribution matters.

You do not need to be:

• a lawyer
• a law student
• a writer
• a “disgruntled citizen”
• even a resident of Saddleback Road District

You can remain completely anonymous.

Our goal is simple: promote transparency, accountability, and a better understanding of how local government works. This is not about personalities. It is about process, rights, and making sure the laws intended to protect everyone are actually followed.

Want to help?

We can assign tasks based on your comfort level and availability.

Examples might include:

• emailing a government office and asking a simple question
• locating statutes or Attorney General opinions
• reviewing meeting minutes or public records
• checking citations and references
• archiving historical documents
• helping compare bylaws, policies, or maps
• proofreading posts or research

Sometimes all we need is a screenshot of an email response or confirmation that information exists (or doesn’t).

We then compile, analyze, and publish.

If you would like to participate in shining a light on local government issues, accountability, and public process – not just for one road district, but as a broader principle – send us a message:

This is a shared group email so we can keep track of projects and volunteers.

Government works best when citizens pay attention.
