If Crystal and Dale and Bob could get an HOA going

Not sure how many district members know that Crystal asked for my collection of CC&Rs a few years ago to force another neighbor to ‘clean up his yard’ and move his construction equipment.

I didn’t give them to her because this sort of thinking makes me cringe.

So much about this video reminds me of the board. Can you imagine what their texts and emails say? And I’m sure they deleted lots of them, but the carrier keeps them stored and a subpoena brings them to the light.

I think as time goes by, very slowly, more and more district members realize just who these people are. They will realize that the concerns we have raised will affect them as well.

We are oil and water. We don’t want expensive homes and 5,000 sq feet, paved roads, and higher property values. We didn’t buy here as investment. We bought here to live our lives. Humbly.

But it is clear to us that the Board would like nothing more than to force us off our properties. To have like-minded (oil) people buy it and put up fancy houses. We simply want different things. We have different values. We don’t want wider roads.

We also don’t want to spend the rest of our years having to attend every stupid meeting and telling the board that they can’t do this and that or vote on such and such, because it is against the law.

And yet here we are. As long as we are held hostage by greedy, corrupt board members who threaten our homes, we have to continue to hold them accountable for every thing they do. We’d rather be left alone in our own road district and let them pave their roads on gold of they want…

But here we are.
