All Too Familiar…

I think I shared this story or part of this story, but not sure if it was here or one of the other sites or platforms. This video was so familiar it really got under my skin at points.

Switch out Eleanor for Crystal or Dale or Bob etc, and that’s what we’ve got here. People abusing their position and threatening to take our homes. What we do not have here, that this guy telling the story luckily had, was support from county officials who seem to actually care.

So much of this story is exactly what we are dealing with. Right down to the numerous Open Meeting violations. And roping in other ‘neighbors’ who don’t care much about us or the law. It is no skin off their nose if the Board can force us out and sell our property out from under us.

I think there might be a few people who are unaware that this is even possible. However, it is pretty clear to those of us who are the first to be forced out. The few of us that have called the board out on their illegal activity and schemes and lies. The few of us that realized a year ago what the bigger picture was when the Board illegally ousted the guy we voted in.

We’ve had a year of reading their outright lies in motions and doing every single thing they could to keep this first case from being heard. Their lies to county commissioners. Their lies to the Office of Hearing Examiners.

If we had some local or state officers who gave a rip about regular people and the law, this would have been taken care of a year ago.

We are still looking for legal help- either to outright represent us or to coach me in going pro-se in circuit court. They are still breaking the same laws and they still have their sites on our properties.

And they are each still personally liable for the actions they took illegally under the color of office, which none of them legally hold. Every penny they spent is on them individually. If you are a lawyer, give me a shout. I’d be happy to go over every single document and lack of document since 2016. They have no idea what they are accountable for.

One thing I got from this video is reminder that this is a marathon not a sprint. One of our neighbors said that from the very beginning. I was ignorant and thought that since we were in the right, it would all work out smoothly and quickly.

I had forgotten they could use our stolen money on an illegally hired lawyer who has no qualms with lying. He fits in well with them. This will take some time. The longer it takes, the more it will cost them. This is not a threat, just a statement of inevitable fact. The longer they continue stealing our money and using it for unlawful actions, and holding illegal/secret meetings and denying us access to public records, the more they open themselves up to individual/personal responsibility. That’s the law.

Here is the video that I was talking about. This is an HOA, but quite similar in many laws and certainly when you have someone like Crystal Farrokhi or Dale Ruzicka asking about enforcing rules so neighbors can’t park their construction equipment so close to the road. Or trying to get the teenage drivers of other neighbors in trouble with law enforcement.

Law enforcement. Kind of ironic coming from them.
