‘Punished before a fair trial’

This story recently broke and I watched quite a bit of it unfold. This DWI enterprise has been going on for 30 years. Do you know how many people must have been involved? I can understand this man’s pain and sadness. To know that so many people conspired against you. So many people were in on it. So many people knew better but took care of themselves, and not the people they were sworn to protect and to serve.

And 30 years of people probably trying to be heard and whom were dismissed as paranoid or as conspiracy theorists or just as nonsense. There were people who heard these rumors or stories and dismissed them as silly and not their business. They went on with their lives without a second thought. They assumed that the people ‘in charge’ were good people taking care of business as they should.

It probably seemed unbelievable that this many people could possibly be involved in such a scheme.
